Grape variety: Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOP
Color: rosé
In the vineyard: Montepulciano grown partly with guyot and partly with Abruzzo pergola at an altitude of about 450 meters above sea level on basically calcareous and rich in mineral soils.
In the cellar: The must obtained from soft pressing of the grapes, after a brief contact with the skins at a low temperature, is left to ferment with its indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature for about 30 days. Clarification obtained by decantation.
Aging: in steel tanks, followed by in the bottle.
Sensory characteristics: the wine has a bright cherry pink color. The scent of the wine is pleasant, fine, just hinted at the vinous accent, and with a fruity bouquet; the flavor is soft, harmonious and delicate, with a fine almond aftertaste. Just well balanced acid.
Recommended pairings: its fresh flavor makes it versatile and can be combined with numerous dishes, which is why it is also favored with an aperitif. Perfect to combine with aperitifs, fish soups, pasta dishes, delicate cheeses, roasts as long as they are light, this wine is also perfect in combination with non-demanding dishes such as pizza.
Serving temperature: to be served at 12-14 ° in Bordeaux glasses.
