Description

A lovely green tea enhanced with delicacies from our local region known as Grand Ried. Elder, pear and sunflower petals pay tribute to the curlew, the official bird of Ried. The curlew’s curved beak looks like the moon and this sweet, fresh tea is dedicated to this striking bird so that his magical song may be with you whenever you drink it!

 

This militant green tea helps support the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux (League for the Protection of Birds), one of the key organisations for the protection of nature in France, set up in 1912. It has 50,000 plus members and for more than a century it has been working day in day out to protect birds, safeguard biodiversity and running projects that raise awareness. It is has local branches in many regions and departments. Recognised as a public service, the LPO makes a significant impact in terms of ecology, particularly through its rescue centres which save many species of bird every year.

Flavouring at Les Jardins de Gaïa

After taking delivery of the raw materials, some of our teas and herbal teas are flavoured with natural flavourings and then packaged. All these steps are carried out by hand on our premises in Alsace. Doing things by hand allows us to lavish the greatest care and attention on these plants which have been harvested with respect by our partners. At Jardins de Gaïa, the addition of natural flavours is not intended to mask the taste of tea or plants, but rather to add new subtleties and bring out the depth of their flavours.

The tea or plants are obviously the main aromatic ingredients. Thus, each recipe is carefully prepared, respecting the delicacy of the plants used.
The choice of ingredients is crucial when creating our recipes, which is why we ensure we use only the best natural flavourings, fruits, spices, and flowers selected for their origin and quality. Our recipes are the result of daily inspiration, guided by our curiosity, our passion for our job and a desire to help you discover new flavours.
