Preparation:
To give your millet a good taste, fry it for 2-4 minutes in a dry pan on a medium flame. Carefully add 2 parts water to 1 part millet, as well as a healthy pinch of salt. Lower the heat, cover for 15-20 minutes until all the water is absorbed. Stir frequently to prevent the millet from burning. You can add different spices or serve as is as a side dish. Prepared this way, they go well as a side dish to any meal instead of potatoes, rice or couscous.
