Further Information
Description
These tea filters made of natural plant fibres (wood cellulose and Manila hemp) are manufactured in Hamburg, Germany. They are compostable.
Manila hemp is a natural fibre extracted from the leaves of the abaca (Musa textilis), a species of banana tree native to eastern Asia that is quick and easy to grow. This fibre, which is highly resistant to breaking, was formerly used to make ropes for boats. It is mainly produced in the Philippines and Ecuador.
These fine filters meet the strict quality criteria of the aromatreu® trademark and are designed to preserve the "intact flavour" of the finest teas. They have not been bleached and have been put together without glue, using a pressed fibre lining. The interior gives the leaves enough space to develop all their flavour.
These filters can be closed with a filter clip* to infuse the tea with ease (*the clip is sold separately).
Dimensions 130 x 85 x 45 mm (height / width/ thickness). 100 filters per box
