How to prepare

* 150 g of flour
* 60 g of butter at room temperature
* 50 g of caster sugar + 50 g of brown sugarIdée recette :
Spiced shortbread (recipe serves 6 people):
* 150 g of flour
* 60 g of butter alternative at room temperature
* 50 g of caster sugar + 50 g of brown sugar
* 1 tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda
* 1 egg alternative
* 1 pinch of salt
* 1 pinch of Terra Madre grated nutmeg
* 1 teaspoon of Terra Madre ground ginger
* 1 teaspoon of Terra Madre ground cinnamon
* 1 Terra Madre vanilla pod
Mix together 100g of flour, the salt, bicarbonate of soda, white and brown sugar and the spices. Make a well and crack in the egg, mix with a fork. Mash in the butter with a fork then rub in with the tips of your fingers. Gradually add the remaining flour. The should be soft, but slightly sticky. Make the dough into a sausage, cover with cling film and leave it to rest for 30 minutes in the fridge. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C. Take the dough out of the fridge and cut into 1 cm thick rounds. Put the rounds on a baking tray covered with greaseproof paper. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.Conservation : Store in cool, dry and protected from light.
