Cinnamon, one of the oldest spices in the world, comes from the inner bark of Cinnamomum verum, detached from the shrub to the rainy season and then dried. The bark is then rolled to form sticks.

Our Cinnamon is from fair trade and comes from associations of small producers in Sri Lanka.

Cinnamon Cinnamomum verum is a must in both sweet and savoury dishes.
